Enschede: Climbing with TSAC

Yesterday was the main day of the BATA. After a night of running, cycling and giving directions to my team mate driving the van, I enjoyed the weather at the campus of the University of Twente, where I noticed a climbing wall (28 meters high) 'mounted' to the side of a student flat. At that moment it was closed, but when I came back a few hours later, members of the student climbing association TSAC were present and they invited people to take a climb, so I did.

First up was a 5b, pretty much straight up. I made it to about 25 meters high where I got muscle fatigue (in Dutch: verzuring) in the fingers. After a bit of rest I tried another 4+, which gave the same result: fatigue at 25 meters. So I should train more in the climbing hall on doing lengthy routes... But the wall is a nice one. It looks good and it attracts people to try out climbing.
